    1. This review was originally posted on Addicted To RomanceHave you ever read a book where you are totally and completely lost like going through a maze and there is no end in sight? Bring on Primal Desires. Primal Desires is a story that I REALLY should have waited on because I totally believe this series needs to be read in order. Now I am one of those readers that can catch on pretty quickly, especially when I enter the series in the middle or even in the later part of the books. However upon re [...]

    2. This should have been at least two books Primal Desires suffers from lack of focus, too many threads, un-interesting flashbacks, and from too many characters stealing the spotlight from the main romance. Where I normally enjoy the complexity and depth that multiple threads bring to a story, here the threads are superficial and the switching back and forth between so many different characters and flashing back not only bogged down the pace, but also left no room for the interesting scene I would [...]

    3. Jason Cage performs as the beast master in Las Vegas. On his break from Vegas he is summoned by an old friend from his past. Sofia Hunyara is coming to the reading of the will from her grandfather and with no knowledge to her legacy. Jason Cage used his telepathic abilities to help the Hunyara family tame a pack of feral wolves in the past and now they are asking for his help in a similar situation which involves Sofia's training. Jason knows Sofia is destined to be his bond mate but getting her [...]

    4. I have read most of Sizemore's books of this genre, and I have to say that I had a hard time gettin into this one. It wasn't bad, I just coulding get into it. I don't know if the material just wasn't that entertaining, or if I just wasn't in a receptive mood when I read it. An average book for me, but as I didn't enjoy it, for whatever reason, I only rated it 2stars, over my usual 3stars for an average good read.

    5. This story changes up the formula a bit since it relies very heavily on the werewolf aspect of the Prime universe. Jason Cage is the Beast Master, performing an animal act in Las Vegas. A long time ago he taught a family how to tame and control the feral werewolves in their clan and promised to do so in the future whenever it was necessary. He's called on to fulfill that promise with Sofia Hunyara, who has no idea that werewolves even exist. But he agrees to introduce her to the paranormal world [...]

    6. Part of a series and it does not stand alone. There were too many characters and not enough development. The plot was weak, it was about a vampire "prime" who was summoned to California to help the same family that he helped during World War II. They must find the neo-nazis who are attempting to eliminate vampires and werewolves in the hopes of creating a master race of half-werewolves, half humans.

    7. This novel really didn't surprise me at all. I kind of expected a spin-off of the last novel's characters. I would have been very disappointed if there wasn't one. I did enjoy the plot to this novel immensely, because it brought something new to the table. And everyone knows that to make a series great you need new information to keep it going. This novel definitely did all of that and more. It was extremely to my liking and was very enjoyable to read. The characters in this novel got along with [...]

    8. This is just a God awful book with nothing going for it. This is the 6Th in the series and shouldn't be considered a stand-alone. The story is EVERYWHERE, so many throwbacks and surprises that are necessary but poorly executed.Sophia is not a likeable character. She is too flimsy to be considered a strong female character, and all her character had was her blog and mentioning twice her college. Twice. What was her major? Minor? And why did she have a blog about reviewing classic stories? Anyone [...]

    9. 3.5 starsI so remember why I didn't finish this series right away. It just reads like an old woman or my mom would write a romance book. Cheesy, not really dated, but will be dated because of Harry Potter references etc. Romance skimmed over like they were afraid their kids might read it an be all embarrassed. Anyway, this was an animal tamer vamp guy from Las Vegas who receives half of a coin amulet & knows what its about. He meets the woman with the other half when they are both summoned t [...]

    10. Another excellent novel in the Primes series!I adored Sofia. I thought that, although it was quite a bit to take in at the beginning for her, she adjusted quickly and quite well. Strong in mind and body, she manages to make sense of everything thrown her way and finally accepts what she is. What I thought was really neat with Sofia was how Sizemore turned her into one of us bookaholics, where Sofia even has a blog of her own where she reviews books and movies. I thought it was really touching to [...]

    11. The idea of wolf tamers is really interesting to say the least. With the hints and peeks into Sid and Joe's relationship you would hope that this revelation would be helpful to their current plight, but we will see.It is rather aggravating how the men can do what they like and the women have to bow to custom. Matriarchial society my butt.Anyway, Jason's story isn't the normal history of the other primes we've met in this series. One thing I really like about this series is how the stories are ri [...]

    12. Jason Cage is known in Las Vegas as "The Beast Master", no-one knowing that he is in fact a vampire. His telepathic skills were used before to tame wild werewolves. Sofia Hunyara is ignorant of her heritage and her ability to also control werewolves. She lives in fear of dogs since some tried to attack her when she was younger. Shortly before her father was convicted of murder.Jason has to get Sofia to accept her powers and to join the good guys before the bad guys control her. But can he contro [...]

    13. Even though I'm acquainted with this series as I've read two other books,I found this one chaotic. There were far too many characters, too many pairings, too many flashbacks that were inserted without fair warning and, despite the author's clear desperation, there was no plot. Most series have one or two books which are not up to standard in comparison to the rest of the series. Sadly, I think 'Primal Desires' is one of those books.

    14. Awful. LOL. Absolutely terrible. Can I give this 0 stars?Got it in the "blind date with a book" section (in which the book is wrapped up so you don't judge it by its cover). Welp. I have learned my lesson.

    15. I had a little trouble keeping characters straight for a bit. Not sure if it's because I've missed books in this series (having only read 1 and 5 and this is the 6th) or because it's been so long since I read Primal Heat that it was causing me trouble. Overall, this was okay. I recall being more impressed with the other two books I read though.

    16. Bought it on a whim, as I knew of Susan from the TV Tie-in book Forever Knight: A Stirring of Dust I bought years ago.I have to say I liked the Vampire/Werewolf clan struture she's got set up and the mating/social structure. I plan to buy the first 5 books and (and the short story: Tempting Fate) read the series in order. I'm adding her to my short list of romance authors.

    17. Yum. This is the first I have read, so now I have to backtrack and read the others in this series. Got this off the shelf at the local library, and sdidn't see any others, so they must be in demand. Story lines along the path of many other authors of this field, but I like the differing versions of Vampire Clan and Families, so will be intersted to learn more.

    18. I like Sizemore's writing style. However, I really have no clue what this book was about. It was easy to read, but I think I started too late in the series although paranormal romance series tend to work as standalones. I was a little confused as to the relationships between all of the characters.

    19. Wow! If you are a lover of vampire and werewolf romance, then you should read this book. Loved that it was steamy and also a bit thrilling. Yummy is such a fitting word to describe the story line in this one.

    20. I really liked this book. I loved how Sophia was portrayed as a strong independent woman. A lot of books don't portray that in women. I also like how Jason, despite wanting to "be in charge" of Sophia let her be that strong independent woman.

    21. This book didn't do it for me at all sadly. There's was too much going on and now I find that it's the 6th book in the series and maybe if I got my hands on the first one I could love it but sadly this sort of ruined it for me and I don't at this moment plan to pick up another one of this series.

    22. Still have not found any really good vampire novels recently. This one had too many characters that I had to turn back a few times to make sure I had them straight. The plot itself was pretty lame too.I can not believe I just used the word lamehehehehe

    23. I read this book in three hours was cute but lacking in visuals and flow. I might read another one of her books again.

    24. this book was very ummm well good, but unless you like reading -love scences- dont read it. but other than that it was a very very good book

    25. So far liked this one better than the other Susan Sizemore's I've been reading Probably because of the werewolves ;).

    26. This book was okay but I found myself just skimming through it to get it finished. Not enough concentration on romance for me.

    27. good porn like the plot not too much going on but still plenty lesson learnt: should have been born a happy werewolf

    28. I enjoyed this bookVampires, werewolfsa few other supernatural effects like mindreading - throw in some romance and some steamy scenes and you have a fun, quick read!
