    1. What to criticise first? The abundance of typos and obvious lack of proofreading? The amateurish style of writing and regular errors in tense and perspective? The fact that the majority of the stories are from the 1800's and were a simple cut and paste job into this "manuscript"?The thing that really made me roll my eyes so hard they almost fell out of my head was the authors accounts of scary events in his own life like the time when he was a kid and a swarm of little gnats or fruit flies buzze [...]

    2. Intriguing but all over the place. Some of the truth and its symptoms in strange phenomenon is picked up on well but overall the book is far too unstructured and sloppy to really leave a definite impact or convey the experiences appropriately.

    3. This books was a dollar on ould have been free. I thought it was really bland even though the stories had potential to be interesting. I feel like it would have been more credible if I could have personally found the articles that he talks about from the various newspaper's he sights, but I couldn't. Few grammatical errorswouldn't suggest it. Just don't waste your time.

    4. Poor grammar, very little details, the section on the Voynich Manuscript is included twice, the author talks at length about his own supposed supernatural encounters and does not offer up any other explanations for the events described. You can get more details about the events and incidents in the book on and it would be better researched and sourced too.

    5. EhI chose this title because of my love for horror. It reads like a child's school report on the macabre. I don't suggest wasting time on this.
