    1. Read this to my nursery school class for one day during transportation week. They seemed to enjoy the pictures and the repetition of items is always good for very young kids. My age range is 1-2, so while the items are unknown to them - they are all fans of large equipment and trucks! Was a good book for them to see.

    2. Checked this book out again for the flight to NYC. He still likes it. It's all out trucks. Not as interested in it as the first time around. He needs more story. This is a book of large construction equipment. It is made by the Caterpillar company who makes the equipment so the names are specific. Emerson is currently obsessed with trucks and LOVES this book.

    3. Can my 2-year-old tell me what sound a cow makes? Heck no! But now he identifies "boom," "blade," and "grapple bucket" when we go past a construction site. It's not really a "reading" book, so be prepared to point at pictures and name things for a long time.
