    1. What a wonderful phrase “She would get to this oasis in the belly of the south…” And this book is full of them. The writing is alive, and Ms. Eaves characters almost jump off the page. Ms. Eaves captures her readers from her opening line and then drops in one mystery after another. Why? Who? How and what? They’re all there and captivate the reader immediately. I mean, what on earth happened that Lilly Peach had to run from those she loved?Jim Hood had a dream and this year it was within [...]

    2. This was a very fun and exciting short story to read. Lilly is in hiding from her family and the hit man they sent out to kill her. She finds herself in a small town named "Legend" in Tennessee. There she attempts to start a new life and make new friends, but at the same time keeping a low profile. That becomes very hard for her though, when the towns popular and famous coach sets his eyes on her. They have an immediately draw to each other and can't help but want one another. She knows she shou [...]

    3. Reviewed by EmmaRaeBook provided by publisher for reviewThis book is what every author wants to write: a teaser novella which will get you hooked and make you go buy the rest of the series two seconds after you finish it. Once you read the first page, you won't want to stop, either. This book has one of the best opening scenes I've read in quite awhile. The author paints this vivid picture of the town of Legend, and makes you want to move there, too. The way she describes everything is just incr [...]

    4. Seriously? I really wanted to like this story but I hard a really hard time of it. The story overall was not bad but some of the bigger plot points could have been flushed out more. The writing was bad, I just wished it had a better development. And the twist at the end.was weird.

    5. This is one of the stories that you'd call 'sweet' I've read quite a few of the Legend series & love every one of them :)

    6. I found it really hard to get into this book. There were some good bits but I wasn't overly enthralled. I found the ending entirely rush and a little to easily solved.
