    1 thought on “Blood Knot”

    1. Wow. I have to admit I'm really blown away by the whole experience of this book and just how much I enjoyed it. When I was first approached by Tracy to review her book, I was really hesitant because I'd never read a M/M/F romance before. I wasn't sure whether I was ready for something like that but most of all, whether I would like it. I'm all for loving a woman enjoying a hunky "man"wich but how would I feel when those two gorgeous men turn their attentions on each other. Part of what made this [...]

    2. Interesting Read! 3 1/2 STARS HOT!First let me say that the romance/erotic scenes between the m/f and m/m/f were totally HOT! The story was interesting in the fact that it involved two vampires and one supposed female human who were known as the best thieves known by reputation amongst the vampire world.Nathanial (Nial), is one sly and sexy vampire that has a way with manipulating minds to get what he wants. I loved how sexually his actions towards Winter and Sebastian were. He seemed to never l [...]

    3. Surprisingly good. I tend to think alot of erotic romance novels tend to lack in a good story, but this was a good story. I do agree with other reviewers that it would have been nice to know what type of species the main character was, but she didn't know herself so I didn't feel that cheated. I loved the guys. There was alot of great build up to the hot sex scenes. I loved alot of the great one liners. Again, surprisingly an all around good read.

    4. Hmm, well, what to say about this book? It was poorly edited and felt really long, even though it wasn't even 300 pages. It must have been all the sex making it feel so long. There was SO MUCH SEX. I've read bodice rippers with less sex.Let me give you an example of how much sex there was. In the span of nine pages, or about six percent, two of the characters had fully described sex no less than five times. With NO BREAK. It was also mentioned that they had sex several times in between these sce [...]

    5. Where to begin.I didn't have high expectations for this book, even with the great reviews it had already received, because I am a rather harsh critic when dealing with menage stories. I am almost always disappointed because only a few authors seem to get this genre "right".What Tracy Cooper-Posey gets right:1) Realistic and thoughtful character development (who would have thought you would find characters realistic when dealing with vampires?)2) Unbelievably HOT mind-blowing sex. No dialogue tha [...]

    6. Wow, I am very impressed, I didn't know what to expect, but that was an awesome read. I really enjoyed the characters and their relationships. It moved fast but that fit with the story and flowed well.

    7. What to say first, Hmmm. Let us have a moment to just take in the view of the cover to this book . . . shall we?Ok, now stop before you short circuit the device you are using to read this review on. Now, back to what is on the inside of the book. This book purchase for me was one based on another review. First I thought, what kind of story takes 600+ pages to tell! (I hadn't read a book that long since, ummm around Christmas). Then I started reading. The first few chapters for me were a little s [...]

    8. What a surprise! It is a really well layered suspense with erotic romance woven into the storyline and the 3 main characters. It's a little confusing at first, but it answers all your questions, blends the story together, and gives us a lot of surprises and action. It is not your standard "rehashed" vampire story. Nathanial (Nial) is a powerful vampire, Sebastian his former lover, and now new partner to Winter. Sebastian and Winter are a highly sought after pair of thieves. They have a skill set [...]

    9. Blood Knot is one of those books that took me a while to figure out where exactly it was going. There was a pretty big deal made in the beginning how Winter and Sebastian were "linked" and she needed to have his blood on a regular basis, then I don't really know what happened to that. The plot was okay but I felt it was missing something. The action/mystery parts of this book didn't really hold my attention, and was all over the place, IMO.The sex scenes were well written; and I enjoyed the M/F [...]

    10. Paranormal and more It had me from the first few words it has a bit of everything paranormal hot sexy men a beautiful lady you need to read

    11. CAPTIVATING, ENGAGING AND FABULOUSLY ENTERTAINING !!!Title: Blood KnotAuthor: Tracy Cooper-PoseySeries: Blood StoneDesignation: Book One, Can be read as StandaloneGenre: Vampire Menage Urban FantasyMy Rating: FIVE FABULOUSLY ENTERTAINING STARS*****Blood Knot is my first time reading Tracy Cooper-Posey but it certainly won't be my last. After reading only one book, it's obvious to me that Tracy Cooper-Posey is a gifted storyteller and master wordsmith with an impressive vocabulary and exceptional [...]

    12. My rating: 4 out of 5 stars"Besides, that's cliched and predictable. If I were going to attempt something so ham-fisted I would have pulled you into my chair twenty minutes ago, brought you to your first climax ten minutes ago and had you begging for release again five minutes after that. All without removing a stitch of my own clothing."~NialYupke that. Blood Knot is the first of the Blood Stone series and the first I've read from author Tracy Cooper-Posey. Trust me when I say, it won't be the [...]

    13. I love reading about hot sexy vampires. Winter, a professional thief who can manipulate others' biologies by touch, accidentally "healed" her former partner--and former vampire--Sebastian, whom she secretly loves. Her healing created a symbiotic pairing between them that neither of them wants. Nathanial, a sexy thousand-year-old vampire and Sebastian's ex-lover, talks Sebastian and Winter into stealing evidence that will expose all vampires to the world. But Nathanial is a puppet-master who does [...]

    14. I was happily surprised by how good this book turned out to be. After reading the blurb, I would usually pass on a book like this cuz it's really not my usual reading material. But I gave it a chance because it got good reviews, was .99 and I was feeling adventurous.First off, the blurb doesn't do this book justice. I believe if it was written differently, it would generate a lot more interest. The three main characters are each a treasure in themselves and the more you get to know them, the deep [...]

    15. I actually think the worst part about the book is the cover. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.The story itself is pretty good - a mix of adventure, intrigue and romance. It had a bit more Romance than I would have expected. I could understand the girl being involved with two centuries old (or older) vampires getting swept up emotionally but they were just as bad and had much less of an excuse.Winter's mutant abilities were interesting - I can't think of any comic book character with the exact [...]

    16. “Blood Knot” by Tracy Cooper-Posey showcases great character development; intricate story design, heart-stopping suspense and a love story that made me weep! The story just grabbed me and pulled me in and without much preamble immersed me in the lives of these three fascinating characters. As the details of their lives unfolded, my interest to know more only increased and I found them more fascinating. When the reveal of the penultimate mystery was made, I admit to having secretly wished for [...]

    17. I really really liked this. I'm really not into vampire books these days, but this one wasn't "vampirish", if that makes sense.I found the storyline and characters well developed and intelligent. There were some sappy, romantic moments which made it kind of sweet in places. And not to forgeteamy, hot sex.One of the things I liked is the sex wasn't uncomfortably graphic. Don't get me wrong, it was descriptive as hell just didn't have to describe every vein and ridge (if you know what I mean).Nial [...]

    18. I bought this a while ago and started it a couple of times and got distracted so I'm glad I picked this up again and actually finished it this time. Winter and Bastian have been working for two years as professional thieves and have a falling out a year ago. Nial who was Bastian's long-time lover (although Bastian had broken it off) comes looking for Bastian and finds Winter and while they are searching for Bastian, get closer. Once the three of them are together, they are combustible. Definitel [...]

    19. It took me a little while but I finally got into this book; after that I will have to say I really enjoyed it. I really liked seeing how all three of them came together and realized that they needed each other. I also think that I found a new author and can't wait to read the next book.

    20. First I want to note an error on the blurb for this book: there are no "sex toys" in this story. I, personally, don't care for them in books, so I was glad not to find them. I wanted to comment upon this for others who may feel the same. If you DO want them in a story, then you are out-of-luck with this one (unless you count lube as a toy). One of the criticisms I often have with erotica is the poor quality of the story itselfat is not the case for Blood Knot. The story is a strong one with the k [...]

    21. I stumbled upon this author completely by accident while searching for discussions about the definition of urban fantasy. TCP wrote a blog post about UF vs PNR, and since those frequently overlapping genres comprise the bulk of my reading material over the past several years, such issues interest me. TCP claims that PNR has a romance-focused plot while in UF the romance is secondary. That's a good distinction. Ironically, this very sexual book has more plot, character development, and overall su [...]

    22. Blood Knot is one of those books that took me a while to figure out where exactly it was going. Many of the pertinent facts are presented to you from the beginning, but Nathaniel (Nial) and his manipulating ways make you question everything. Nathaniel is a self-professed master manipulator and it made him an intense character to read. Winter and Sebastian are professional thieves. The fact that all three have mastered the art of deceiving others and hiding information from others to get exactly [...]

    23. I've gotta give props to the cover of this book. I mean, did you LOOK at it? DAY-um it's purdy.Winter and Sebastian are literal partners-in-crime: thieves, ya'll. They work together for years, but each hold a secret about themselves back from the other. Winter can manipulate peoples' chemical reactions to things and Sebastian is a vamp. They get into a sticky situation, she tries to heal him, and makes him human again. Plus, it binds them together somehow. Sebastian splits, because well, I don't [...]

    24. Clare C's ReviewBlood Knot by Tracy Cooper-Posey stands head-and-shoulders above most other vampire books on the merits of its plot and characters.Nial and Sebastian are vampires who’ve been lovers for two hundred and fifty years. They parted ways before the beginning of the novel. In the meantime, Sebastian, a thief, has partnered with Winter. Due to their reticence to get close to another person, their relationship remained professional even though both harbored a secret love for the other. [...]

    25. Not going to lie, Tracy Cooper-Posey writes some SEX-AY men who enjoy getting busy with one another and the lady who captures BOTH of their fancies. This series most definitely delivers on both the sexy times and the sexy characters. There also happens to be tension, issues that need to be worked out, potentially catastrophic secrets, and danger of the physical variety. Winter, Nathanial and Sebastian don't have it easy on their road to coming to terms with how they feel but it all works out in t [...]

    26. 4.5 stars - This was one of the best erotic vamp books I have read in a long time. It was an interesting plot with the heroine, Winter, having extra abilities that created a symbiotic relationship with one of the heroes, Sebastian, but their relationship was far from solid, so that led her to form a relationship with the vampire Nial. In some ménage stories I sometimes feel that if one of the parties were to leave the other two wouldn't be together, but I didn't feel that way at all about Winte [...]

    27. Yummy hotness!!! Okay so the beginning of the story was a little slow & I didn't think I was really going to enjoy it. But, it eventually picked up speed & I did enjoy it a lot. I would have liked more m/m going on; especially what Winter wanted to see happen actually happen without it being all three of them. I think that Sebastian re-gave into his love for Nathanial happened a little too quickly. There should have been a little more fight I think. I loved Winter's abilities, that was p [...]

    28. Let me start off by saying I didn't read the description of this book very well (okay, at all) because I had no idea about all the sex scenes. That said, I found the story really good and (this sounds bizarre) worth reading regardless of the erotic-ness. It's not that I don't appreciate the extra sexiness - in fact, in this case, they were quite enjoyable - but most of the time, authors aren't capable of having a good story with integrated sex scenes. I'm happy to say, this author did a fabulous [...]

    29. This was my first book from this author, and it won't be the last. Ms. Cooper-Posey weaves an intricate tale with suspense, and mystery, and takes us jet-setting to exotic locations. Her attention to detail makes the story come alive. I was soon caught up in the characters' lives, and rooting for them all to pay attention to what they really wanted. Love, of course! The sex scenes are well done, a little long for my taste, but that's just me. There's something for everyone to enjoy in this story [...]

    30. It took me almost a week to read this book -- if it wasn't for a book challenge, I wouldn't have bothered to finish it.Not sure why I didn't like "Blood Knot" more, I just never really felt engaged by the characters. There was hot sex, a mystery, and a couple of plot twists, but I just Did. Not. Care.
