    1. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how this book found its place on my pile. Even worse than that - what was I thinking when I decided to give it a go? Completely beyond me.Sadly, "me giving it a go" happened three months ago - while I was off & unaware of the blurb that says it all. Not the luckiest day of my life, that's for sure.Anyway - The Wedding Deal is you know, somewhat a classic - he wants a contract marriage (and kids), she needs (a lot of) money, blackmail, trouble, yadda, [...]

    2. Tessa is in need of a million dollars to help her best friend Andrew and because she loves him so much she goes to ask her grandfather for help. While leaving her grandfathers house after he turns her down Tessa see's Alexis. Alexis knows exactly why John Jones has asked him over the evil old man wants something from him and Alexis also knows that John Jones knows he is looking for a wife. He Knows John is willing do anything to get it even throw one of his granddaughters at him But he knows her [...]

    3. Though the cover looks erotic, this was a sweet read. If your a fan of the Harlequin Present books then you will surely like this book.Andrew, who Tessa loves like a brother, commits tax fraud. She will do what she can to help save him so he won't end up in jail. Tessa turns to her grandfather for help; she also hates him with a passion because of her parents. With her grandfather refusing to help, he forces her into a marriage that she doesn't want in order to get what he wants. Alexis saw Tess [...]

    4. The authors writing drives me mad And I keep swearing off reading another of her books cause I 'just can't take ANOTHER ''had''!'. If you've read any of her books, you'll know what I mean. I think Marie may have a patent or something on the word 'had', cause she uses it like she would the space bar. I would love nothing better than to get my hands on these books so that I could edit a few hundred 'hads' out of each one. (if you're reading this Marie Yes I am serious Just let me know!). Anyway ba [...]

    5. Nice Novel Marriage cant continue without the Love to have a relation between two long enough there should be love else it wont last i loved the characters and felt sorry for both of them they almost lost each other just because they were not open to each other Honesty would solve any problem i would recommend this Novel thanks Marie Kelly

    6. Love love love this one i can't put it down and it's like each scene that i wanted to happen did how Tessa would tell Alex she's pregnant how their fights would turn out how much they wanted to be with each other but holding back because of their assumptions. LOVE IT!!!!

    7. Covers can mislead you!Despite the erotic cover, there wasn't much detail in it compared to other adult novels. It was actually like any other typical romance stories.I liked the plot. There's something about not-so-forced marriage arrangement that I dig. The clash between the characters makes it exciting and fun. In this book, the clash wasn't with Alexis and Tessa though. Alexis married her just to have a family; wife-and-kids package. Tessa married him to save Andrew. It was almost a win-win [...]

    8. Just to keep my review short Pros~- love the story. (nothing unique but I enjoyed it all the same)- Lots of yummilicious drama- really sweet H/h (enjoyable side characters too)- hot and tender scenes- fast pacedCons~- in dire need of an editor; lots of grammatical and spelling mistake- narrative technique was a lil off-putting ( too many 'hads'. just using simple past tense is good enough, you know)- I would have enjoyed some payback towards the grandfather- could do with a better epilogueSo, we [...]

    9. “Because marriage is something that too many rush into with no real thought of what they actually want. I want a woman who understands my lifestyle, who will produce for me the children I want, and if all fails will not take away most of my business or my children.” - Alexis Demitri.I feels it's more like reading Harlequin with some extra-hot-scenes in it.I admit that the story way too cliche and way too predictable, but I found myself enjoy reading this book anyway. So, since it's New Year.I [...]

    10. I am loving Marie Kelly's book. The main characters were endearing and I fell in love with them. Tessa needs one million dollars to save Andrew who has been like a brother to her. She tries to sell her inheritance which is worth more to her grandfather but he says no. Alex is looking for a wife not for love but because he wants a wife and kids. He proposes to Tessa but she refuses him. Her grandfather manipulates them into the deal which will most benefit him while also making sure to tell them [...]

    11. Well like other readers said the cover is really deceiving. but, I can't say I ended being disappointed. It was a sweet story, because both the hero and the heroine learn that their initial thoughts were wrong and at the end love trully conquers awwww But I must say that what a hateful person her grandfather was.

    12. Not really an erotic story like the cover leads you to believe, however there are some hot points! I will say that this was a sweet contemporary love story with a HEA that leaves yo warm and fuzzy inside. The characters are likeable and the storyline was an easy breezy read.

    13. This book Tessa's grandfather was a piece of work. Dimitri was a darling, wanting to help Tessa. What got me pissed sometimes was Tessa stubborn not letting Dimitri in. Cheers to the author, great book.

    14. Sweet and heartbreaking at some parts! The heroine especially was adorable! I was rooting for them to get their happy ending :)

    15. Oh I'm super in love with the story with the exception of his cold treatment at her when she needed him the most.
