    1. A devastating look at chicken egg and “meat” production.(Full disclosure: I received a free copy of this book for review from the publisher.)     2. I knew some things about how chickens are raised commercially, but I learned a whole lot more with this book. People think that eggs are like milk - they come from chickens and cows without having to kill them. However, the way these animals are kept today is more like torture. I would recommend that everyone read this book. Hopefully we can push for ethical treatment of our food-giving animals instead of exploitation and torture.

    3. Oh, do NOT read unless you want a LOT of good reasons to become a vegetarian, and NOT a lacto/ovo one at that!

    4. Animal rights Classic. I am sure it is super out of date, but lays out a strong case for what a destructive and awful industry is behind the production of Eggs.
