    1. While Mead has some interesting items in this book, it holds little candle to Lara Spencer's efforts in Flea Market Flip materials.

    2. I was very disappointed! The author showed what numerous people collect, but not how they display their collections. A large part of the book showed second hand furniture which the new owner painted and decorated with new handles etc. Generally the rooms where the piece was to be placed was never shown except perhaps an empty wall. While this may have made a great ad for a paint company, I did not find it inspiring.

    3. Learned a few thingsThings I will probably forget about entirely by the end of the week. Which just so happens to be tomorrow. It's a Full Moon. Some people will freaking love this book. People who have time to sugar cure lilac petals to put on cupcakes, for instance. Pinterest dames would be into this book. This stuff is not on my level. It has some pretty awesome pictures though.

    4. There were a few clever and orginal DIY ideas in this book but not enough to impress me. I love "flea-market" funky design and have read a handful of books about it. This needed to have much more substance! Do not buy it but maybe get it from a library if you want to do some DIY projects. I wish it could have been more inspiring

    5. Good inspiration for transforming secondhand items and incorporating them into your home. I like that this book showcases a wide variety of styles: mid-century modern, farmhouse/country, english garden, child-friendly design, vintage industrial, etc.

    6. Inspired ! Serenity ! Color And Textile GENIUS !! Better than Martha Stewart !This book is an amazing collaboration between talented people with a beautiful aesthetic . Well done ! A must-read for decorators , budget babes , and trendy beautiful people .

    7. Some great photographs and ideas but can't get past the constant name dropping of "Matthew says" and Matthew did. ugh.

    8. I like a good picture book. That's why I review blogs. This is fun for ideas. Just make sure you rent it from the library.
