    1. I absolutely adore this book and luckily so do the kids. Rebecca Elliott's illustrations are stunning, the soft edges to everything and bold yet gentle colours are positively strokable. I particularly like her portrayal of a mother cat curled up with her sleepy kittens and Tori loved the little pig, making me turn back to his page again and again so she could look at him.The story is very simple, you travel across the world saying goodnight to all the animals - from Little Donkey to monkeys, cat [...]

    2. This has got to be one of my favorites from this author. As I've become a mom, I like to read all the books that my daughter will come across and I cannot wait to show her this one. The illustrations are gorgeous and it's just such a sweet little poem.

    3. khols is doing the Margaret Wise Brown books for there khols cares books and animals this month and january!! I loved goodnight moon as a kid and my mom read it to me so much, that are original copy started to fall apart. It was cool to see how many other children's books she wrote. this book was adorable and I loved all the illustrations! it was fun to help my mom choose between this book and goodnight moon to give as a present to a little girl at her church. of course I am particle to goodnigh [...]

    4. My Review: I am finally getting around to reading more of Brown's books, which I love of course. This one seemed a little more simple than her more famous ones, but no less enjoyable. It is a great bedtime story, simple and soothing with a nice rhyme that flows off the tongue. The edition I picked up at Kohls also has some really adorable art in it that has nice soft edges, a nice dreamy feel to it. This is great for fans and for really young children.

    5. Goodnight Little one is a delightful book which is an easy read for young children. I read this out loud to my 2nd grade class and they loved the rhymes and the wonderful pictures which showed cute pictures of different animals which are told to close their eyes. Love the book.

    6. Goodnight Little One is an adorable bedtime story for all kids to enjoy! The story talks about a few different animals - what they do during the day and then tells them that it's now night and time to close their eyes. There aren't many words on the pages (or overall), so it's a quick read for right before bed. Each page is illustrated in full color with adorable pictures that go hand in hand with the story as it progresses. I found the pictures to be really cute and well done - they aren't over [...]

    7. I think this book is wonderful for getting young children to listen to reading and to become familiar with simple words. Margaret Wise Brown has a calming effect in her writing that gives the opportunity for parents and child to bond with each other through the experience of books. Her books offer the chance for parents to make reading an important part of the nightly routine. What impacted me the most was, "Goodnight Moon" as being one of my favorites to read to my own children at the end of th [...]

    8. I rated this four stars although if the artwork was not as fantastic as it is, it would have gotten a three, if I was in a good mood. The story is blah, it's not imaginative at all and only a little calming, which is supposed to be the effect it intends as a bedtime story. However, the pictures are amazing, bright with colors that complement each other and seriously amazes my one year old every night I read it, she loves to look at this book. I enjoy it, though, so that's why it got four.

    9. A very nice very 'quiet' storybook for little ones to calm down before bedtime. Walks you through several baby animals as they settle down for their bedtime. Illustrations are wonderful in this book. Would make a great baby shower, or birthday gift for a child.

    10. Such a cute book! We've read it three times and my two year old already has it memorized. It's our second go to book. Our other is goodnight moon also by Margaret wise brown.

    11. Sweet and beautifully illustrated. Makes me wonder why Brown's OTHER book became a classic while this beautiful book remained unknown.

    12. me and my six month old love this book. it is short and sweet, and perfect for bedtime. the pictures are lovely too which is why I bought it in the first place!
