    2. Outstanding. The book to own for traveling (or planning to travel) Route 66. This is a must-own. The author has done his research firsthand and fills in all kinds of places to see and do. My only wish might be for him to add GPS coordinates- but part of the fun is finding sights yourself. Own this book, and get the 4th edition. And make sure you visit his store in Chandler, Oklahoma!
