    1. A santa who 'hates' christmas and an elf who loves them and helps him see the light!! Interesting, right?Well Mitch would prefer to work all through the holiday season and not participate in anything festive, but his boss has another idea. Now with no other option but to dress like a santa and entertain the little kids that really need it, he makes a connection with a very cute and energetic elf! EllieEllie left UK because of her ex and now helps her sick godmother, she is adorable and takes a l [...]

She is drafted in as Santa’s Elf at the local Children’s Hospice in lieu of her Godmother, whilst she is out of action.Mitch Carter doesn’t celebrate Christmas, after a traumatic childhood, he se [...]

    3. Tis’ the Season to Kiss Santa was a sweet little holiday story. The last thing Mitch wants to do this Christmas is play Santa for kids in hospice care, but to prove to his boss that he does have heart and not just the Scrooge he acts like. Ellie has come over to the US from England to help out her beloved godmother. She loves to cook, so making a yummy dinner for the kids at hospice makes her Christmas. That’s until she meets the man who is sent to play Santa, grumpy and late Mitch. An unexpe [...]

    4. I received this book for review from the publisher and the author. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. This was the perfect story to start off this series but I think it would be great to read this one on Christmas Eve – a great reminder of the true meaning of the holiday. With the holidays adding stress to our already hectic lives why not take an hour just for yourself and read this great novella. By the time you finish reading, you’ll get rid of the tissues [...]

    5. Ooooh what a great thing to have found a love on Christmas! Ellie and Mitch were strangers who worked as stand-ins at hospice and rough weather made them stuck to each other. With chemistry and passion swirled between them, love blossomed less than 24 hours! Even if there is no promises made, I liked how the two of them will try to work out what the new relationship they had together. Loved them. Even if this is fictional but they're real for me so I hope the best for them. Also review it here.

    6. With the Christmas holiday season right around the corner, 'Tis The Season To Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy is the perfect holiday novella to get you in the spirit of the season.Mitch Carter is a Philadelphia PR executive who doesn't celebrate Christmas since he doesn't have good memories of it growing up. He is on the fast track to taking over the PR agency when his boss C.J Holford retires next year, but C.J. has one more test for Mitch before he makes his decision: show that Mitch has a heart and [...]

    7. I read this novella as part of the Baby, It's Cold Outside anthologyIn this first story we meet Ellie who absolutely loves everything about Christmas and spending time with her extended family. After a nasty break up she has travelled to the other side of the world to be with her godmother who is recovering in hospital and she is quick to volunteer her services at a Children's Christmas party. Mitch is the complete opposite of Ellie, throughout his childhood Christmas was never something to look [...]

    8. Kate Hardy's holiday novella is fabulous and fun and rates five kisses for Santa!I love grumpy would-be Santa's who find hope and love in Christmas, so Kate Hardy's holiday novella, 'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa is a perfect holiday read for me. Plus I really enjoy Kate Hardy's romances. She is an author that I always have looked out for in the Harlequin imprint and was happy to see she's also publishing with Entangled Indulgence. The hero, Mitch, an upwardly mobile PR exec, and heroine, Ellie, a [...]

    9. I received an ARC through NetGalley.'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa is a cute and quick holiday novella which reminded me of those made for TV Christmas movies. Mitch hates Christmas, hasn't seen his family in years, and has the nicknamed of Ebenezer. He's hesitant when his boss asks him to fill in for him as Santa at a Christmas party held at the hospice. Mitch ends up agreeing, not only because it may help him get that promotion, but because he wishes that someone had tried to make Christmas spe [...]

    10. Please note this review may contain spoilers.Mitch hates Christmas because the season stirs up too many painful memories of his crappy childhood with his dysfunctional family. More than happy to work over the holiday season, he thinks his work ethic has him a shoo-in to take over his boss's position when he retires. But his boss wants more than just a hard worker; he wants a man with heart and "asks" Mitch to take over his role as Santa at a local hospice. Ellie loves Christmas and is more than [...]

    11. Mitch is not a fan of Christmas, but he is determined to impress his boss to be considered for a promotion. So off he heads to dress up as Santa to hand out presents to kids. Once there he meets Ellie the woman temporary in charge of the event. Ellie is in the States to away from her family and start a new life. Her first impression of Santa is not the best, but fate has another plan in mind for these two. Having to spend some time alone while a storm passes through Mitch and Ellie get to know e [...]

    12. If you're looking for a quick holiday read to get yourself in the mood put this one on your list.'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa was a sweet novella and the first I've read from Kate Hardy. Mitch is on the way to the top as a PR Executive except his boss isn't exactly on the same page as he is. Sure, Mitch succeeds in his professional life, but his home life is a bit cold and lonely and he certainly doesn't have any Christmas spirit. His boss decides that he'll be the one going to play Santa this [...]

    13. Ellie Brown has come to Philadelphia to help her godmother recover from surgery. She has to get away from the suffocating sympathy she is receiving from her family. Hospice is having a Christmas party for the children and she is helping out as Santa's elf. However, Santa is a grump. Mitch doesn't like the holiday. His childhood memory of his parents fighting colors his outlook, but he agrees to help his boss, CJ, give the children this treat. His feeling changes once he meets the children and hi [...]

    14. Reviewed by Kimfor Read Your Writes Book ReviewsThis was a nice little story. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I felt disconnected from the characters. However, I was still able to enjoy the book.Because of Mitch's upbringing, he isn't a fan of Christmas. In fact he's been called Ebenezer. It's not that Mitch is a bad guy, because he isn't. His past just doesn't hold the memories of what great Christmases are all about. When his boss questions if he has a heart, Mitch puts on a Santa suit for [...]

    15. I received an ARC of this novella in exchange for an honest review. I couldn't decide between 3 stars and 4 and that is only due to my personal taste and has nothing to do with the writing. I think the author is talented. I tend to not read too many novella's unless they are a continuation of characters I've read in other books. I thought the writing was great and (because of my tastes) I would have loved for this to have been a full length novel. The story drew me in so much that I flipped the [...]

    16. Review to come******************* I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my ownI’m not a huge fan of novellas, they’re too short and there’s barely enough time for any growth or background of the characters. But I just got lost in this story, so much so, that I finished it in just over an hour. The chemistry between the characters is electric and boy, oh, boy, Mitch would definitely make any woman weak at the knees. An [...]

    17. I have to say that Kate Hardy knows how to write a Christmas Novella. I am late in reviewing this novella as after I read it I had school work and then I had a death in the family so I am finally catching up on my behind reviews. This is a short story about love and Christmas. Ellie comes to America from the UK to help her godmother who is sick. As she is helping her godmother she is asked to help out at a Children's Hospice where her godmother is supposed to help out. Once there she meets the gr [...]

    18. Received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review3.5*loveisastateofmind.wordpress.cFor me novellas are either hit or miss. It is very hard to get you invested in a couple in 50 pages or less, not to mention making their fast-paced romance seem remotely realistic. Some authors have knack and others don't.I am pleased to say that this novella was a hit! Both Mitch and Ellie are fish out of water - Mitch has been forced to play Santa and celebrate Christmas against his will and Ellie [...]

    20. Full review on my blog, Becky on Books.'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa was a cute read, though as fluffy as a snowy night. There wasn't a whole lot of justification given for the immediate prejudice both Mitch and Ellie feel for one another, and their capitulation into something more is fairly sudden, even for a novella. It wasn't a bad way to spend an hour or so, though, and it definitely had me looking forward to hot chocolate and making snow angels. And snow days. So I can catch up on my reading [...]

    21. I liked this novella, things happened a little too fast, but it was nice meeting these two lost souls and watching them finding each other made this christmas perfect. My only problem was the speed, but they are good together. Mitch has suffered a lot and Christmas was a difficult time for him, so I can understand his reasons for judging the holiday and trying to stay away. Ellie was a nice girl and I don’t think she loved her ex-husband that much, because she talks like they friends more than [...]

    22. This was an absolutely adorable, yet hot novella. it is hard for me to write reviews for novellas without giving it all away. Let's just say that although we know who will get together, the true joy in this story is how they get together and all the descriptive words used in the process. This novella spoke to me because so many times we are too busy during the Christmas season and stressed out. Because of a snowstorm, two individuals must stop and find themselves even if it means opening up to s [...]

    23. Unfortunately, I think this one just wasn't for me.The idea behind it was good, but I just felt like there wasn't any spark between the characters.Their conversations seemed unnatural and felt awkward. I know its a novella and so I wasn't going to get it all, but it didn't leave me with the inkling of an HEA either. It was left at a "we'll see where this takes us".And I just kept wondering why these two were running around outside in a snowstorm without any coats on.Copy provided by Netgalley in [...]

    24. 'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa is wonderful Christmas story. Kate Hardy writes a sweet story. Mitch Carter looking to be the next head of his firm. In order to do this he needs show that he has a heart. His boss is sending him to be Santa. And Ellie Brown who is a recently single pastry chef helping her godmother for the holiday. If your looking for that little touch of Romance check out 'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa. The story will have you wanted to make snow angels and kissing under the mistlet [...]

    25. I love Christmas stories! This story is about Mitch and Ellie. Mitch is a PR executive, whose boss wants him to fill in for him and be Santa Claus at a children's hospice. Ellie is playing the part of "Chief Elf", filling in for her godmother who is recuperating from hip surgery. Read this short story as these two get better acquainted while being stuck together in a snowstorm. This is a sweet romance that really tugs on the heart strings. Want to get more into the Christmas spirit? Read this boo [...]

    26. I want to kiss Santa. And not the rotund cuddly grandfather type chap. No I want the brooding businessman who appears more Scrooge than St. Nick. It's sweet, sexy, touching and humbling and Mitch and Ellie are completely loveable characters. There's no question that it's well-written and flows well, but I had what I call my 'novella niggle'; just as I became completely invested and had fallen in love, it was over. Nevertheless it's a great little read that fills you with festive warmth. 3.5 stars [...]

    27. When a business man who is proud of his Scrooge like reputation is asked to fill in as Santa at a local children's hospice, he meets a very sexy head elf helper. When a blizzard strands them in her house she gets to show him what the holiday can really mean. A bit of a traditional storyline with a very cute twist, this was a great way to start getting in the holiday season and in the mood for Christmas. - See more at: hotofftheshelves/

    28. Such fun! It is to Kate Hardy's credit that she can pack such a great story and s much passion into a novella, and not have one suffer for the other. She has given us a hero and heroine that have enough fun, angst, and passion to keep the story interesting, as well as passionate love scenes, and some honest character growth. That's a tough thing to do with a novella. I think this may become a holiday classic, and based on the quality of Ms. Hardy's writing, I will be looking for her other books. [...]

    29. Enjoyable Christmas story! Mitch is self centered and aloof to the needs of others. He focuses on the bottom line only. This is his Christmas story at getting his heart out of the "emotional freezer" and joining the human race.Ellie is a sweetheart. Only someone like heart can undertake the task of melting Mitch's heart and helping him look at life with different eyes. Loved reading this story!
