    2. I have been a follower of Jeffrey Hollar’s website The Latinum Vault (jeffrey-hollar) for quite some time. I've joined in some of his flash fiction challenges, and enjoy reading his stories when he enters prompts at other websites. He writes with passion and has definitely found his voice! These stories are like snapshots, vignettes of life, of something waiting to happen, and each tale draws you in, enticing you into a story which holds your attention and leaves you wanting more… So many of these tales could be turned into full length storie [...]

A broad spectrum of tales for all tastes, this book is sure to please and can be read in the shortest of tea breaks (although you'll want to continue onto the next tale). Although all the tales are perfect short stories, some I would love to see expanded on and have the potential to do so if the author wishes. But this is a fine collect [...]

    5. Sometimes the quality of a book’s writing overcomes any reservations about its genre, and this is one of those books. In places far darker than my usual taste, these are elegant, assured tales told in an array of convincing voices.
