    1. Reviewer: MeganRating: 4.5 StarsDisclosure: This eBook was provided by the author in exchange for an HONEST and not necessarily positive review. Now I love a story where the chick is a bad a$$. Not that I don’t love a story where the guy saves the girl, but it’s nice to read one where you know the chick can throw a right hook and take apart a gun. It just makes me all excited as a reader and you know the story is going to be good. And this story was. It was exciting and captivating. You wante [...]

    2. I read the first book in this series and was intrigued by Linda's brother, Giovanni, so I was thrilled when I got a chance to continue on and read Giovanni's own story. Successful, Italian businessman, Giovanni Coriola is in London just before the Christmas holidays for his sister's wedding. He decides to practice his gun marksmanship skills so signs up for sessions with a target-shooting specialist and trainer, Sonia Galsworthy. He is impressed by her skill and attracted to her immediately.Soni [...]

    3. Dante's Amulet, Book Two of the Coriola series picks up where Mirage Beyond Flames left off. Giovanni, the hero was introduced in the first book as Linda's brother. Understandably, he comes to London to be with his sister at this special moment in her life. While in London, he arranges for shooting lessons, building suspense within the story as the reader is left to wonder why. He meets the feisty heroine of Book 2, Sonia, a shooting instructor and is drawn to her. Threads from the first story a [...]

    4. What surprised me most about the book was the discovery that a shooter could feel just as much fear as the rest of us. It has altered my preconception regarding gun owners as the author herself was once a competition shooter. Her style of writing is soft as she looks gentle in the photo at the back of the book. Not the sort of image you have of coarse hunters itching for the hunting season to arrive so they can shoot animals for leisure. No, the real shooter takes it as a noble vocation to horn [...]

    5. I've read all the books of this foreign author, and I think this is her best so far. Her language skills are impressive. As another reviewer has noticed, she is getting better with every book.Unlike my first guess, Dante's Amulet isn't a follow-up on Mirage Beyond Flames, but a different story completely, the story of Linda's brother, Giovanni Coriola. The characters are very well-developed, vivid and strong, and the plot is exciting and meticulously planned. As for the love story between Sonia [...]

    6. This genre is not my usual reading material but I thoroughly enjoyed this hot and steamy book. So much more to this story and just romance. Well written and kept my interest. De Ross keeps me interested in a story that I would not usually pick for myself. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read this story.

    7. Enjoyed book. Was pleased to read Giovanni's story, as I loved his sister, Linda's book. Fast paced romance started out as a fling. Several cute parts.cially shopping for the ring.

    8. This is a beautiful, romantic and mysterious book. Melinda De Ross still has the ability to let the words just fly off the page, so much so that you don't realize you are almost done!

    9. I received a copy of this story in return for an honest review. The beginning of the story starts out with the two main characters meeting for the first time at a firing range. The author does a wonderful job of describing the rich and sexy male lead. She also gives the female main character a strong independent personality. As the story progresses the female lead personality softens and the couple's interactions develop into a romance. There is a magical twist within the story that does not flow [...]

    10. SNS Rating: 5.0~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~Amazing story of Giovanni and Sonia. You'd think this was basically about their romance and dealing with conflicts and issues. It's a beautiful love story of meeting, diving into the physical attraction and rapidly growing into love. Giovanni did have a unique way to declare his love and ask Sonia to marry him. But this tale involves so much more. There is a mystery afoot, rooms are being ransacked, shots are being fired, hidden mani [...]
