    1. The Friendship PactTara Taylor QuinnBailey Watters and Koralynn Mitchell call themselves sisters even though they are really best friends forever. They are total opposites. Bailey has had a hard life while Koralynn comes from a wealthy family. Regardless, they have been best friends since they were five and most of the time, Bailey stays at Koralynn's house to escape from her "step fathers". They even go to college together and are roommates there. THE FRIENDSHIPS PACT is their story.Koralynn is [...]

    2. At First Sight: Koralynn and Bailey have been best friends since they were 5 years old, and have gone through life's milestones together with Bailey often staying at Kora's house as her mom's life imploded over and over again with the comings and goings of her stepfathers, and later with them rooming together in college. There is nothing to test their friendship, not even Kora's husband Danny- her high school sweetheart - who never warmed toward Bailey, even though he has known her just as long [...]

    3. Honestly, what kind of 'best' friend and 'good' husband go behind the back of their friend and wife and keep such a massive secret. This is betrayal in its deepest form.

    4. The Friendship Pact by Tara Taylor Quinn is a 2014 HQN publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Wow, what an emotional roller coaster this book turned out to be!Kora and Bailey have been friends since childhood and are really like sisters, the bond is that strong, maybe stronger. They have been through everything together from Bailey's very tumultuous upbringing to Kora's more traditional life which included marriage to her high school sweetheart, Danny, a [...]

    5. THE FRIENDSHIP PACT by Tara Taylor QuinnKoralynn and Bailey have been friends ever since grammar school. Koralynn had wonderful parents but Bailey had a five times divorced alcoholic mother and a bad experience with one of her step-fathers. Life has not been easy for her. Koralynn and her parents have been her life savers. Bailey doesn’t trust men, but she does go to law school to become a lawyer, while Koralynn is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Danny, and is a teacher. The two [...]

    6. Another great read by ttq. Tara writes the most heart felt and thoughtful stories I have ever read. Most of her stories have some form of abuse and then the story revolves around how the person overcomes this abuse. The Friendship Pact is the story of two girls who become best friends while in grammar school. They make promises for the rest of their lives to always be there for each other and to not have secrets from each other. Bailey is afraid to believe in love and marriage, but supports Kora [...]

    7. Bailey and Koralynn have been friends since they were young girls. They were complete opposites but Koralynn's family took Bailey under their wing and the girls were like sisters. They went to college together and shared everything. Koralynn married Danny while Bailey decided marriage wasn't for her having survived all her mother's divorces and eventual suicide. She is best friends with Jake, Danny's friend and co worker. But Bailey does want a baby and thinks Danny would be the perfect father. [...]

    8. I finished this book at 3am, and went to bed. An hour later I got up to write this review because the characters and the story wouldn't let go of me. This had the emotional depth of Beaches as far as writing about women's friendships. These two had a rare bond that not many people share. I wasn't sure if there was any way this could reach a HEA. I would like to revisit these characters some time after the resolution of this novel and see how everything was working out with the solution they foun [...]

    9. Mixed feelings- it definitely drew me in and kept me reading, but it was a frustrating book. The secrecy was just so blindingly stupid that I ended up just not caring about a few of the characters.

    10. Undying friendship A good foundation goes a long way in establishing a lasting friendship. Great summer read. Definitely recommend this book. Strong women

    11. Well written and would have been a great story if the author didn't pull the very common C or A word. Just very disappointing how drama is always centered around that.

    12. Wow!This was an amazing story. The friendship pact was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It kept me interested from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down.

    13. You can read this review and many more at my blog For Such Love We Feel.I received this book free from NetGalley and Harlequin Publishing as an advanced reader copy. The Friendship Pact by Tara Taylor Quinn was a great read for the very beginning of summer. I was drawn to this book as soon as I read the description and saw it was about two very different friends who had been together most of their lives. I don’t find many books about friendships, especially between women around my age, so this [...]

    14. **4.5 stars for this engrossing story of best friends and how life's obstacles will end up testing their friendship.Koralynn and Bailey have been best friends since childhood. Koralynn has always had the charmed life with a loving, wealthy family whereas Bailey has endured a troubled childhood with a drunken mother and her five husbands. Bailey's only brother has Cerebral Palsy and her relationship with her real father is estranged at best. Koralynn has always been Bailey's anchor as they've gon [...]

    15. The FriendshipTara Taylor QuinnThis story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.Koralynn Mitchell grew up in a wealthy and priveledged home with doting parents, Bailey Watters experienced the exact opposite , a drunk for a mom with a slew of divorces behind her and an absentee father. But somehow they became the bestest of friends early on and that love for one another has lasted for years into adulthood."Promise me that if you ever need anything you will come to me. I will give you [...]

    16. An unusual twist to a childhood friendship.Bailey Watters and Koralynn Mitchell are drawn together as childhood friends. Koralynn is the child of affluent parents with an abundance of love they are willing to share with the young girl who becomes Koralynn’s Best Friend Forever, Bailey. Bailey is the second child of dysfunctional and alcoholic adults that didn’t understand their own relationship, let alone how to deal with a son’s genetic illness and Bailey growing into a young lady. The Fr [...]

    17. When Koralynn Mitchell defended Bailey Watters in grade school little did they know that it would be the beginning of something big. It didn't matter that they were total opposites, that Kora came from a loving stable home and that Bailey’s was anything but. It didn't matter that Kora was the optimist and Bailey’s glass was only half full, or that Kora knew her high school sweetheart was her one and only true love and that Bailey’s abusive childhood wouldn't let her believe in fairytales. [...]

    18. The Friendship Pact by tara taylor quinnBailey Watters and Koralynn Mitchell consider themselves "sisters of the soul." Their circumstances growing up couldn't have been more different; Kora came from a wealthy, privileged family, while Bailey's home life was hard. They'd do anything for each other. "I'd give you a kidney," they always say. There are no secrets between them—until there's one secret Bailey can't share. This is a story for every woman who's been in love.Danny Brown is the only ma [...]

    19. When I first started this book, I wasn’t sure if I would like it. The book started out kind of slow, but it was a part of this story that need to be told and I am so glad the author told the whole story. As you can read in the synopsis that Baily and Koralynn are best friends, soul mates in a friend way. The type of friendship that every girl wants to have growing up and one to keep as an adult. Their best friend. As I started getting into the story, I really couldn’t put it down, had to fini [...]

    20. Actual rating: 4.5 stars ‘My best friend was right. Things weren’t the same anymore. We had to make adjustments. But what mattered most, the bond between us, hadn’t changed. And it wouldn’t.’You know when you struggle over a decision, making what seems to be the best choice at the time, only to have it make things more complicated later on? That’s basically the premise behind The Friendship Pact. And what a truly tangled web of choices it is…Novels about women’s friendship always [...]

    21. Read and Review:I absolutely loved the bond that Bailey and Kora shared. Like they said multiple times in the book "I would give you my Kidney", / "I would give you two". Which is the sweetest thing. They have been life long friends and all Kora wants is for Bailey to live the perfect life with a husband and children, but Bailey has a different planI was absolutely addicted to the storyline, but it was the type of book I could put down and pick up and week later etc It was quite boring at times, [...]

    22. With the cute cover, and the way the story begins, I was expecting an easy and lighthearted read. However, The Friendship Pact was not that, but that made it a much more enjoyable read. The story was in a way like riding a roller coaster, because it would be so sweet in one moment and so heartbreaking the next, but strangely enough I liked that. For the most part it felt extremely realistic and I just couldn't put it down. While I disagreed with several of the actions of different characters, I [...]

    23. Koralynn and Bailey were childhood best friends. As they grew life changed and with those changes came changes in their relationship. Koralynn got married and Bailey became a mother. They faced many challenges and hardships. They had to decide if the pact they made as childhood friends was childish or was it a lifelong oath. “The Friendship Pact” was a phenomenal read. It was intense and riveting. I was sucked into the emotional highs and lows of the characters. I felt their joy and I felt t [...]

    24. Pedestrian. A tale going through the lives of two girls, from childhood to childbirth, through struggles and disaster. Just how much can a true friendship survive? It's quite slow, good as a relaxing summer break from reality and quite romantic in places.I enjoyed it for what it is, it took me a while to read as I had difficulty getting engaged with the characters and the story itself was a bit pedestrian. I understand the concept that the author was trying to get across but it just didn't work f [...]

    25. Life is unpredictable. How do we choose our BFF. Is it our differences that make us stronger friends? Or just early bonds we build by such simply things as helping a stranger detangle her hair on the school playground to silence the taunts of bullies?Tara Taylor Quinn wrote this story to show her goddaughter the special a friendship she'd shared with her own BFF. From the point of view of the BFFs she writes a convincing and this thought provoking story many readers will recall for a long time. [...]

    26. I thought I would like this book as the premise sounded intriguing to me. But no, did not like it. I found myself skipping through paragraphs and pages just to get through it. I liked their friendship, but for some reason I could not get emotionally involved in their characters. I'm sure many others will like this book; it just wasn't for me.

    27. It's been quite some time since I last read one of Tara Taylor Quinn's books, but I hadn't forgotten how much I loved those stories. This is another example of her excellent story telling skills. A very touching and emotional story with many surprises. I couldn't put it down!

    28. A strongly moving story about a friendship between two women, Tara Taylor Quinn's The Friendship Pact starts off light and easy but boy did it pack a punch! Beautiful characterization, a strong, moving plot and simply superb storytelling kept me riveted. Highly recommend this one!
