    1. I really enjoyed Boys in Gilded Cages. It's extraordinarily written. When I say this, I mean it is different from just about anything I've ever read. It's like a bunch of short stories and at first I remember being like "Uh, what the heck is going on right now?" and then everything started to mash together and I was like "Oh ha, I get what's up." Sorry, I suck at writing reviews, (which I partially blame on my reading most things at three in the morning and being a zombie the next day). But! Boy [...]

    2. Kind of weird for the shown average to be 2 stars when I see a bunch of five star reviews below me.Anyway, I've never been compelled to write a review on a book before, but this book knocked me off my feet. It's not perfect, but it's extremely powerful. It could have used some more thorough editing (hopefully it will be fixed in future editions), but I'm unsure that this wasn't intentional, as the narrator is a teenage meth addict. In any case, the typos do make it hard to read at times, intenti [...]

    3. It's an experimental novel, which made it challenging at times. However, its fragmented nature only works to the narrative's advantage. The characters are unbelievably vivid, and Jarod Powell has an uncanny ability to peek into the soul of the adolescent. Also, on a personal note, after living in rural Missouri for a long time as a teenager, I can say that it was definitely accurate, and I definitely related to most of it.This is a great novel, and it deserves a lot of attention. I hope other re [...]

    4. Wow.Loved it. Read it in a day. Jarod, you must be a tweaker or a former user. Kind of scatter brained, but what else can you expect from a tweaker.
