    1. Oh my God, I got this because I had a whim to know more about the business of male modeling. This is not a book about male modeling. This is a book about being an incurable hound dog, a name-dropper, a pretentious asshole, and the biggest narcissist in the world. I kept it in the bathroom and read it in two-minute increments, skimming incredulously. Approx. 3/4 is given over to kiss-and-tell stories about 80's and 90's supermodels. 1/8 goes to humble-bragging Hulse's exploits in modeling, surfin [...]

    2. Why did I read this junk? I'm not proud that I did. In fact I seriously debated putting my review on the site. But arrived at my office as a preview copy, and of course, I couldn't help but pick it up. This book is about Hulse's lifestyle of the good looking and promiscuous. I was reading Tolstoy's Kreutzer Sonata at the same time when I read this, which made Hulse's book seem even more trite--and his insights rather "third-grade." Hulse takes himself and his revelations very seriously. It's act [...]

    3. Bruce Hulse's life as a fashion model was full of SEX.d sex. Although Hulse attempts to describe his transformation to that of devoted father and family-man, you can't help forget his hundreds of one-night stands with beautiful women. Nevertheless, you can't help liking Hulse and understand how easy it is to fall into that trap as a male fashion model.

    4. Having covered fashion week in L.A. in the past, I was curious to read how things are on the other side. I thought I would also do some research, since my nephew has the makings of a male model. This is an interesting, frank account from a man who has worked for decades in this ephemeral business.

    5. Not much to this (NO!!! REALLY???!!!)it really shouldn't be called a book. I certainly shouldn't COUNT it as a book. But he's nice to look at

    6. Trash, but entertaining. I always wonder if the author who is spilling secrets calls up those he is tattling about, in this case models like Paulina and Lauren Hutton and let's them know he is telling dirty little secrets. Picked it up during my lunch hour at work from the new book shelf and finished it quickly after skimming through most of it. How do books like this get published?

    7. Enjoyable and free. I like his,air quotes, Spiritual QUEST" but it is so appearance conscious he makes Richard Gere LOOK like HH Dalai Lama :) It's better than not being on a spiritual quest, fo sho.

    8. What can I say but pure "trash" reading that is perfect for a lazy summer day. Nothing important, nothing thought provoking, nothing challenging yet fun to read when you want to waste some time.
