    1. Review was first up on For The Love of Fictional Worlds as part of the Blog Tour on 27th of July :)When you have demons, shapeshifters and witches coming together, who might I mention, are also unapologetic about their sexual preference - mayhem is what you get! This book grabbed me from the get go, even if it was a little disorienting to jump into a whole new world without any forwarning, but I found my feet quite quickly! This book is told in four different viewpoint - Gabe and Theo are natural [...]

    2. This is such an entertaining book This is the first book of "The School For Wayward Demons" series, and such a great fun read to get lost into As you read you are pulled into a world that magic, witches and demons are real, and exists. This book pulls you into the life of 4 teenagers, that are far from normal, all 4 all so very different and have a personality of their ownThere is Theo a shape shifter and witch, just there seems to be more to her character, can't wait to see Theo's character gro [...]

    3. Such a fun read! Each of the four characters who are drawn to the ‘school’ have their own damage: Kitty, the over-achieving demon with domineering mother who kicks ass at math but falls short when it comes to hand to hand combat. Theo, the witchy shape-shifter who might just understand the animal kingdom far better than these humans she’s forced to interact with. Gabe, homeless drifter (well, not homeless, he’s the first to argue that he has a ‘home,’ it’s just the a**hole, aka, hi [...]

    4. I have to write a review, and I'm so tired. There's a point at which every body needs a break, and mine is reaching it's breaking point.I've grown wise enough to recognize the signs, and even gone so far as to warn people, because taking a break isn't possible this time. The world is on my shouldersThe universe is inside meand I am a dreamweaver. No time for breaks. The books are amazing & I'll tell you all about it after I rejuvenate by eating Delissio garlic bits & hot chocolate from Tim [...]

    5. Enter a world of magic, demons, shape shifting, witches and real bad-ass demon demons. The story of four young people, each with their own unique backgrounds, heart-aches, trails and demon or magic blood, drawn from different worlds and ending up together in the School for Wayward Demons. Exactly what they are: wayward, undisciplined, untrained and touching into worlds beyond their understanding and abilities. Theo the shape shifter with a penchant for taking that which does not belong to her, l [...]

    6. What if Harry Potter and the X-Men were real? What if they lived together in one awesomely terrifying universe? What if they played fast and loose with their sexuality and refused to apologize about it?Welcome to Song of Secrets, a thrilling LGBT Urban Fantasy first-in-series that I devoured. This book is very aware of itself, allowing the characters to reference Harry Potter, Frozen, X-Men, and other related entertainment franchise icons–and, for me at least, that made it so much better. The f [...]

    7. This was such a great read! I think it a perfect read for both YA/Teens and Adults alike. It has so much to offer and throughout the book, the read remains light, fun and really addicting! I could not put the book down and was very sad to turn the final page. Now I am keenly awaiting the next book in The School of Wayward Demons series. The four main characters were developed so well. They are paranormal creatures, dealing with paranormal type issues, but it still truly has the feel of teens, dea [...]

    8. Rachel and Tate do a wonderful job with character development and setting the scene. Although paranormal, it is believable. A new world has been created here in “Song of Secrets”, the first book in “The School of Wayward Demons” series.“Song of Secrets” is definitely a page turner for readers of any age. You are quickly pulled into the lives of these four teenage demons and you just want to know more. You want to know what obstacles will be thrown at them and how they will come out v [...]
