    1. I had no idea what to expect from this book. Crazy things started happening almost immediately.A group of friends want to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Primm, Nevada. Hang out by the pool, sip on a few drinks, do a little gambling, and maybe take in a show. Sounds perfectly normal.Upon reaching the hotel, the group sees a large line leading up to the reception desk. Fortunately, they see one of those handy-dandy self-check-in kiosks. Maybe it was really unfortunately. After entering their rooms, [...]

    2. Vicki-Ann Bush created a very satisfying and entertaining read with her recent offering –“Room 629.” I was particularly impressed with the dramatic arc in this YA science fiction. The action comes on fast and seldom lets up. The story builds on alien conspiracy theories and answers the questions of why they are here, and how long they’ve been among us. The first person POV helps to repeatedly build tension and lends a sympathetic feel for Jessie, the main character. The multiple plot twi [...]

    3. A good read from start to finish. It was suppose to be a relaxing getaway , but started off with a screaming woman in the middle of the casino with blood on her. Need to read!

    4. I had great fun reading this story. It was told in a sort of 50’s, 60’s sci-fi style. I felt like I was reading a work by Rod Serling or maybe Richard Matheson. The characters were well defined and the scenery, well-described and thought out. Jessie Marshall is the main character and her friends are Micah, Patrick, and Caleb. The four of them decide to have some fun one weekend at the Primm Resort Hotel & Casino in Primm, Nevada. However, their room, number 629, is the center of some mys [...]

    5. This book is an adventure from start to finish. Four friends go off for a weekend break and the girls have room 629. From the window, in the distance they notice some houses out in the dessert. Nothing particularly strange about that except next time they look, the houses have disappeared. The friends go off to investigate and the adventure truly begins with some very strange things happening when they get to the houses. It is literally a whole new world for them to discover.A recommended read fr [...]

    6. I actually read this a while ago, and only now getting back here to play catch up with book, and reviews.I adore Vicki-Ann, and her book Room 629 was such a fun adventure. There was humor, drama, danger and resolution. She is a very talented author, and I need to go find her other books to add to my shelves!
