    1 thought on “Capitol Danger”

    1. Excellent showcase of how 4 different authors can seamlessly write a common story thread. The plot revolves around a group of men who call themselves The Red Mantle whose hated of women in any form of power had been pushed to the brink when a woman is elected President and many other women hold seats of power. Their thinking is this abomination must be stopped and they plan to do this on inauguration night at a hotel hosting a huge inauguration party in DC. Normally for books like this I would w [...]

    2. The United States has sworn in its first woman President and inauguration parties are in full swing across Washington, DC but one party is about to come to an abrupt halt. The Red Mantle, a homegrown terrorist group that believes women have no place in government, has infiltrated the hotel where the party is being held with a plan to kill as many high-ranking, female government officials as they can, including the new President, who they have good reason to believe will be making an unscheduled [...]

    3. 4.25 starsRelease Date: July 25, 2015A romantic suspense anthology like no other! Four stories, one event and four dangerous missions on the same night. It’s Inauguration Night. Glamorous balls throughout the nation’s capital celebrate a landmark event. The town and nation are in the mood to celebrate. But not everyone is so pleased. A home-grown sect known as the Red Mantle plan to make it an event to remember for their own reasons. As their assault succeeds it will be up to those attending [...]

    4. Okay so I've finished part of it, but I did complete a whole story within the anthology so I'm calling it complete for now. I promise to go back and finish the rest, because it really is a good read. ;)As I mentioned in a previous review… I’ve read quite a few anthologies this year and while I love the experience, I was kind of getting bogged down. So… that’s why I only read the prologue (which is quite the set-up and clues readers in to exactly how fanatical this sect is…) and one ful [...]

    5. What a timely, exciting and very scary premise for a book - terror at one of the inaugural balls for a new, and viewed by some as controversial, president. This book gives the reader the story of the events prior, during and right after this gala, told through the eyes of different characters written by different authors! Encompassing all our fears regarding terrorism and change outside our comfort level, this riveting read is a must-read for those who love political thrillers and contemporary r [...]

    6. Capitol Danger is a collaborative story in four parts by authors Suzanne Ferrell, Jeanne Adams, Nancy Northcott and J.D. Tyler. It’s the night of the Inaugural Balls in Washington, DC and the setting is at one of the swankiest hotels in town. Each story transitions seamlessly into the next and doesn't disappoint. Each author maintains her own voice while transitioning into the next story without any gaps. Lots of sexy and edgy agents, mage's and a few surprise you won't see coming!Action packed [...]

    7. This was a completely different style of writing, it us four different authors, four different love stories but the suspense is all center around the same incident. All four stories were great! I think the concept is awesome, I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it. If you are a fan of Suzanne Ferrell you will not be disappointed and it was great to read about Luke and Abigail again and see their romance take the next step. As for the other authors I have not read anything els [...]

    8. 4 novellas by 4 authors that tell 1 complete story.Super action story about a terrorist attack on an Inaugural ball as a woman is elected President. The first story is part of the Edgars Family romantic suspense series. The last story will be continued in the Armed and Deadly series. In the meantime read One Last Kiss for Samson's story.

    9. What a thrill rideI really enjoyed this book, very unique in 4 different authors telling the same story from diffierent aspects of the suspense story. Great concept and it has intrugued me to read more from these authors some I have never read before. My favorite story was Jeanne Adams, her hero Edward Millner was just awesome. Sigh!I highly recommend this fast moving romantic suspense.

    10. OUTSTANDING job by the 4 authors to advance the story from start to finish based on their characters and what part of the hotel they were in when the attack took place. So Good - Highly recommend!

    11. I received this book from the author for an honest review! And wow it was good! Each author tied the romantic suspense story together! Loved it and highly recommend!

    12. I only read the prologue and the first story because it is part of this series, and I am unfamiliar with all of the other series. I may read them later. I hated the Prologue. I don't like reading things from the Villain's PoV, and the more gross the villains are the less time I want to spend with them. This prologue went on about twice as long as it needed to to establish the background. By the time it was done it had me turned me off of the book so badly that I had to force myself to continue e [...]

    13. This was very entertaining. Four authors writing about the same story using different characters and each happens simultaneously. The main plot centers around a terrorist group called The Red Mantle. A woman has just been elected president and has placed other women in high positions in her cabinet. Believing a woman should never rule over a man, the terrorist group launches an attack on an inauguration gala where the newly elected president is scheduled to make an appearance. There is also an u [...]

    14. Capital DangerExcellent book written by four awesome writers. I love the idea of getting four different views from different agencies dealing with the same threat. Great characters, excellent storylines. Looking forward to reading more from these authors.

    15. One event, four short stories by different authors. It's a great concept and well executed. I enjoyed all four stories which to me is unusual. It's too bad none of these were full length novels.
