    1. There's some interesting information in this book, but overall it's very dry. Also keep in mind that this book was sponsored by Carrier, a company that focuses on "cold chains" - keeping food cold while it is transported. As a result, about 1/3 of this book reads like a commercial for cold chain companies. While keeping food preserved is a part of reducing food waste, it uses a lot of energy, and therefore greenhouse gases. This book will have you thinking that cold chains are the most important [...]

    2. This is less book and more report. It's numbers and stats mostly. Helpful as a reference. Could use more stories or extended examples.
