    1. An upstairs/downstairs bodice-ripper, this was a decent read. The blurbs at and list it as 176 pages, but I think that might be a mistake as it felt closer to 76. I finished it in a little under an hour, and I'm not the fastest of readers. Regrettably, the expectation of a longer book did color my opinion of it. I was expecting more of a focus on the rules and requirements of society, the class-based issues that would make a relationship between a Lady and her maid even more complicated than t [...]

    2. This was another wonderful lesbian romance. I quickly fell in love with the two main characters. I am quickly becoming a fan of this author. I look forward to many more romantic stories from Jesalin Creswell.

    3. 3.5 stars. Good period detail, atmosphere. But the relationship felt really rushed, as did the ending. I wanted things to unfold more naturally. Books like this just need to be longer. Still, I'm looking forward to read more from this author because I'm a sucker for historical + lesbian + romance.

    4. I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Jesalin Creswell. This is a F/F historical romance story.Millie O’Connor works as a lady's maid and when she becomes employed by Lady Hollingsworth she is not sure she can keep her desires to herself. Vivian Hollingsworth lost her husband and now she needs to re-enter London society but when she get acquainted with Millie she feels desire but can she risk her feelings or will she forever feel alone. The author gave the characters v [...]

    5. Sarah Waters this is not. But that's okay. Sometimes you just want to kick back and read a trashy romance story with insta lust love. Sometimes you just want to read about two Victorian ladies kissing and that's that.I give it 3 stars because it met my expectations for what kind of book I knew it was going to be. I just wish it wasn't so rushed; I think the author could have drawn things out a bit better. But, again: girls kissing. It was silly and kept me entertained for an hour, which is exact [...]

    6. An intriguing story, especially considering the historical period and time it took place. I felt slightly underwhelmed by the final product though, hence the 3-star review (closer to 3.5 stars though in the end). I understand it was meant to be a shorter story, but the lack of historical implications leading up to the primary relationship left me feeling that I was unable to take the story as seriously as I had hoped. I so wanted to love this story, as it hits many of my own favorite genres, but [...]
