    1. This fairly quick read is three collected speeches of Neil Gaiman. Good Comics is a bit dated, but recognizes and identifies the coming comics crash of the 90s, where foil covers and selling for investment overwhelmed the quality of writing, and is interesting as a warning about that future, as well as its clarion call, just sell good comics. The second, On Signings, is a detailed exploration of the purpose and goal of signings, as well as highlighting the pitfalls and procedures as recommended [...]

    2. I got this one as part of the 2016 Humble Bundle package.A compilation of three speeches Gaiman gave in the 90s to an audience of comics books shop owners, retailers and authors, with some nondescript illustrations. The two speeches intended for book shops owners, about why they should sell good comics, and giving advise about signings, are mildly entertaining, but of little interests other than historically. The one speech more intended to writers may have some moderately good, though trivial ad [...]

    3. This brief collection of three essays is mostly of historic interest now, addressing (in part) the comic book sales crash of the early 1990's, advice to comic book store owners on how to conduct signings, and thoughts on getting a writing career started. All of these essays were original speeches given to comic book professionals, so the information and tone of the essays is geared toward that particular audience, rather than a more general fan. This edition of the collection was published in the [...]

    4. Três discursos do Neil Gaiman sobre quadrinhos, com conselhos tanto para criadores quanto para donos de lojas, coisassim.Apesar de eu não trabalhar com nada disso, gostei muito dos discursos, e as analogias que ele faz são muito boas.

    5. Similar to Free Speeches this is a compilation of speeches and essays by various writers in defence of comics. Same as with Free Speeches I mostly skimmed through it, found some good parts, smiled a bit, and continued skimming. I got this book as part of Gaiman's Humble Bundle. It was somewhat interesting, but I would probably have enjoyed it more if I had a larger interest in the world of comics and actually knew more of what they were talking about. So it's probably more my fault that the book [...]
