    1. The fourth Heron saga! Much better than the third, which was dire, and nearly put me off buying the fourth, but Im glad I did! This book focuses on the lives of Maria and Hugo's children - the master and mistress of the Heron family estate and mine - and their travels through life. It also brings back the curse of the Gillis family, entwined irrevocably into the Kendal family from a previous generation's misgivings. I really enjoyed the Gillis family curse storyline in the second book of the sag [...]

    2. I feel soo terrible for Allan and Felicity and I was happy with the ending when they finally fell in love with eqach other and martin and eloise got what they deserved. Though poor Maria lost her love.
