    1. Rhyming book with four lines of text on a page featuring a rather sweet monster named Clarence. This monster lives in a tree and his mission is not to frighten people, but an intelligent, intuitive creature who enjoys having adventures and meeting new people. He has an upbeat personality and is always willing to use his imagination.Preschoolers will delight in the large illustrations and easy text. Nice bedtime story or read aloud for young children who love the monster concept but don't want to [...]

    2. Such a unique little rhyming book. I've actually wondered when I'd see a children's book illustrated with computer graphics! I like the concept of showing kids that they don't have to be afraid of monsters. This happy little guys isn't interested in scaring kids - he's more interested in using his imagination to have adventures of his own. There were a few places where the meter of the rhyme wasn't quite there for me, but it doesn't detract from the story. It has such a positive message for kids [...]

    3. I chose this story because it sounded like a play outside story. Instead, Clarence is a cute, but not-at-all scary monster who lives in a tree. His vivid imagination takes him into space and lets him become a superhero, encouraging a joy in playing anywhere one wants to go or anything one wants to become. This rhyming picture book is sure to be a hit with young children because they will learn that monsters just want to have fun. I imagine that I hear "read it again Aunt PJ" as I read it myself. [...]

    4. Great Story that I think young readers will really love, who doesn't love a monster that has fun?On top of that the story rhymes and that makes it fun for all to read. Great job making monsters and reading fun!

    5. This is a cute quirky readThe illustrations are fun. A mix of photographic with cartoon gives a different edge to normal children's booksThe story is cute and fun
