    1. An interesting tourist perspective of London. I especially enjoyed learning about the small details and tips of getting around Elizabethan London. I think many children will enjoy escaping into Elizabethan London, and the quiz at the end is great for a self-check on comprehension. There are some words I think young readers may not recognize and will have to look up, however.

    2. This book is written like a regular guide book, in the present tense, with info and recommendations and warnings - but for the London of 1599! The photos, illustrations and graphics are great, and even a Shakespeare fan like me learnt some new facts!

    3. What a creative concept! A guidebook to teach kids about various times in history. Loved the drawings to accompany. Loaded with information, but it could feel kind of busy.

    4. Perfect for intro-level research, struggling or reluctant readers. Great way to get familiar with the culture before researching, gives kids lots of search terms to use in upper level research
