    1. Good book. A little confusing at times with the amount of characters, especially with the sinister blackmailing cast. Overall very good. You learn to not take the bait and do things right and ethical in powerful positions. You also learn that money can change most peoples morals and how easy it is to blackmail people once the scam has been pulled off.

    2.                                     White Collar Blackmail             I thought White Collar Blackmail was going to be about some sort of genteel, cerebral crime, not quite a British drawing room mystery, but maybe close. I never expected a fast paced, action adventure full of surprises that would keep me wondering where it was heading until the very end, despite my usual ability to see a plot line coming.             I enjoy reading a [...]

    3. Kindle Unlimited, though can't remember just why this book got put on my list to read but it was okay. Noticed reviews about what I call briticisms and did notice a couple or so but didn't overly wonder because read a lot of Brit lit, but did wonder a little because of where the story was set. Not overly fond of financial thrillers, and one would think would be since used to be an accountant but it's the 'thriller' part that not overly fond of versus a mystery. Didn't notice any typos as one r [...]

    4. This a great financial crime thriller that will keep you page turning. Fiction but could very easily be a true story will all the financial fraud and crimes in the world today. This was a well written book with an engaging storyline and interesting characters. A great book. I purchased a copy but also received an advance copy from the author. This book has it all financial fraud, the mafia and lots of surprises.

    5. Too many characters in the beginning and it is difficult to keep track later when they become sparse and a clear storyline develops it is much better. Also too many sub plots, and I didn't feel that the central plot had that much of a punch. Climax unfolds just too quickly for my liking. But overall, if you'd like something easy to read in bed on a lazy weekend, this ain't so bad.

    6. I’ve read several of Peter Ralph’s books, and I’ve enjoyed them, but with White Collar Blackmail I feel he’s developed his craft and produced a much more complex tale with some surprising twists and turns and a broad cast of characters. There are some truly evil people in this book, which I expected from him. There are some truly good people too, also expected. But here he delves deeper into his characters and shows us people with weaknesses who nevertheless find the courage to redeem th [...]

    7. Todd Hansen is an accountant obsessed with numbers and a system that he created. He has dabbled in betting on horseraces and finds that his system has been doing rather well. He begins to believe that possibly he can use this system to create a financial situation where he could quit his job and retire. When his system fails and allows Todd to suffer a few significant losses he becomes the mark of an organized group of white collar criminals. Their devious plan is to see to it that he is extende [...]

    8. The book has potential in the plot. It can make for a riveting thriller. Yet, somehow it seems to fall short of being a really good book. Most importantly, the narration is very rushed. It doesn't provide much to the reader by way of visualisation. Even scenes jump too quickly from one to the other. I felt the beginning had too many characters thrown in much to quickly, which confused me. I would have preferred them being eased into the storyline to allow getting familiarized with them.I also ca [...]

    9. A young auditor, Todd, runs up a huge debt betting on horse races with illegal bookies. And typical of such people, when they are unable to pay up, people find creative ways to make them - in this case, by making him steal confidential information about his corporate clients. What follows is a fast-paced, action-packed thriller of what happens to his life due to his horrible choices. Read the complete review and more at my blog

    10. Fast paced and gripping. This was my first book written by Peter Ralph, won't be last. According firms, insider trading, blackmail and Serbian mob. FBI and SEC trying to find out who's responsible. Full of twists, you won't be able to put it down.

    11. Quite low on the technicalities in a public sector audit, the other books were far better in my view
