    2. I was intrigued by the description and I'm glad I gave this a try. Really good story with a very interesting twists. Reporter Ella Jerome gets more than she bargained for when she's asked to join an investigation into missing girls. What she finds goes much deeper than she (or anyone else) expects. I was surprised at the reason for the grotesques and the mystery of how they were created. The author did a great job providing something unexpected.
