    1. I rated this book three stars because it provides an interesting glimpse at how fearful certain people where of role playing games during the hysteria of the 1980s. While I found most of the book to be wildly off-base in its analysis of RPGs and their potential harm to individuals, Robie was consistent in world view and readers of this text can come to understand what it is that people were afraid about when they thought about RPGs -- in particular Dungeons & Dragons.     2. Stumbled across this one misshelved among the game books at my local Half Price Books. I promptly relocated it to the Fiction section.As a piece of entertainment for savvy gamers, it falls a bit flat. It lacks the unintentional humor of your Mazes and Monsters and the fire and brimstone passion of a Jack Chick comic.As a piece of legitimate information regarding Dungeons and Dragons leading you into a life of wanton sex and depravity well, don't I wish!
