    1. Wow! I loved this book on every level - The storyline is gripping; I had trouble putting it down. All the characters are unique, flawed and extremely likable. Kathy, Alan, Grace, Charles, Delia, Emily, the Costellos - what a wonderful community they are. This book has so much going for it - there are stories within the story and yet I never once felt confused. It was masterfully written and I love the way Warner spins her words together to form magical phrases and images, reminiscent of one of t [...]

    2. Interwoven TalesKathy and Alan's story is like so many romances. Attraction, obstacles and plot twists. But bringing healing is Emily's journal, Delia's resilience, and Bobby and Brad. All of these meld together in a touching story.

    3. 3.5 starsWhile this was a fairly good book to me, it seemed to move too slow for me. I wanted the relationship between Kathy and Alan to move quicker than it did.

    4. What a beautiful story. Extremely heartwarming I chose this rating because the writer was most deserving of it. I loved how the story covered each character in detail I would. definitely suggest the to all my friends to read. What a beautiful story. Extremely heartwarming I chose this rating because the writer was most deserving of it. I loved how the story covered each cha e cater in detail. I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends.

    5. This is an emotional story about life's journey. It is set in Denver, Colorado around the two main characters, Kathy and Alan. You follow their loves, losses, and survival. Other characters are involved in interesting subplots that include Kathy and Alan. Their story will fill your heart with lots of love. You sometimes laugh and cry, but you really think about happiness, sadness, and forgiveness. This book is a good read, and it has quality editing for a kindle reader.

    6. Memorable CharactersAnn Warner is an excellent writer. The characters are interesting, real people with real lives and real problems. The storylines are engaging and will hold your interest from start to finish. Dreams for Stones is a tale of family, friendship, love, and loss. Very well written.

    7. Touching storyI really enjoyed this book. I even learned a lot. I just couldn't give it 5 stars because there were just so many story linese main characters, the childrens book, the journal and the stories by the main characters. But I do plan to read the next book in the series.

    8. Alan's wife Meg is dead. He can't seem to move on.Kathy just had her engagment broken off by Greg.Neither of them is looking for a relationship and they both have trouble commiting to anything. A sweet book, full of sad moments.

    9. Changed my rating after reading the second book in this series (Persistence of Dreams). Both were very touching, quick reads(Was home alone and couldn't put either down)! I enjoyed the book within a book dimension.

    10. A good read, with excellent character development, a believable plotline and beautiful descriptions that painted a picture. The children's story within a romance was a bit of a stretch in a traditional romance novel. Otherwise, a nicely-done classic romance, with a twist.

    11. Engaging author indeedAnn Warner writes about love androids, bringing emotions to the forefront. I read her words and don't realize that I'm crying. This book is only the first of many I hope to experience from Ann.

    12. Excellent Story of LifeAnn Warner has written a wonderful story of grief! I laughed and cried. I hoped and cheered for our hero and heroine!

    13. Dreams for StonesVery good book.I enjoyed the the build up of the charactersey seem true to life .would recommend this to fried.

    14. Good story!!The story was well written and the characters likeable. But it's so sad! Kleenex is needed all through the book. I will read the next book but hope it's not so sad !

    15. This book absolutely took hold of my heart. At first, I thought maybe it was slow probably because I've read a lot of mysteries lately. Gradually, the author grabs you and does not let go. The characters are live people in your mind. The experiences are yours when you are reading. The website tells us that Ann Warner writes "emotionally engaging fiction." And she does.
