    1. Rating 4.5/5This is the sequel to ‘Destination Thailand’ and again concerns Georgia Green who started the Lonely Hearts Travel Club. Unfortunately, the new business and her OCD nature mean that she’s trying to do everything, not working with her business partner and not having a life outside the office. Negative reviews concerning their Indian tours together with a couple bottles of wine and a bottle of rum result in her opting to go on the tour to discover just what is happening . . . Get [...]

    2. Destination India is the story of travel organizer, business owner Georgia's adventures in India. She is on a mission, undercover to find out what her customers experience. The antics of Georgia and how she handles her Indian tour guide employee is hilarious. Being an Indian all I can say is the India mentioned in the story is clichéd and the India I live in today is different from what the characters experience in the book. You can get good Wi-Fi, food and better travelling options.

    3. This review first appeared on our blog, where we also chat to the author: tripfiction/novel-set-Novel set in India “Nowhere stirs the soul like India”Georgia runs a travel agency helping people who have just come out of a broken relationship and nursing a broken heart. She is in business with Ben, for whom she has a keen eye, but her feelings don’t really seem to be reciprocated. She works mad hours, has little time for her own social life and it’s beginning to tell.Add into the mix some [...]

    4. Having LOVED Katy Colin's first book Destination Thailand, I have been on a countdown to get my hands on book 2, Destination India. Who doesnt love a bit of escaping to another country and we get just that touching down in India. This can be read as a standalone but in my opinion you dont want to miss out on the whole series, so its best to start with book 1. I have to say in all honesty i prefered book 1 to book 2. There isnt anything bad to say about book 2, I just felt more engaged with book [...]

    5. fter reading Destiation Thailand, the first book in the Lonely Hearts Travel Club series I was really excited to spot the new one on Net Galley and requested it immediately. Katy Colins has joined my list of authors to watch out for and the new book Destination India is another wonderful tour with Georgia the main character.Georgia helps to run the Lonely Hearts Travel Club and after a bad review she decides the time has come for her to try out India and find out whether there are problems with [...]

    6. 3.5Destination India is the second book in the Lonely Hearts Travel Club.Georgia and Ben have set up her business and it is quite successful but then a bad review is coming in and Georgia sets off to India to investigate.Again this book is full of travel adventures, exotic places and lots of fun. Some scenes really made me laugh out loud. I also enjoyed visiting the sights in India.I was a bit disappointed that the love story plays such a minor role in the second book as well. I do love the idea [...]

    7. Having spent months and months longing for Destination India to come out, needing another fix from the Lonely Hearts Travel Club, there was a tiny part of me that was nervous, incase either I had hyped the next book up in my mind too much, or that the first was a one book wonder. Well I definitely need not have worried, as Destination India is every bit as good as the first, if not even better. Before I start waxing lyrical as that is all I want to do, I should assure people that are new to Katy [...]

Originally posted on: albainbookland/2016/06After reading Destination Thailand, Katy Colins' debut and first book in the series, earlier this year and absolutely loving it, I was really looking forward to join Georgia Green in her adventures again. In Destination India, we see a new side of hers: the business woman. Since coming back from Thailand, she has set up a new business: a travel agency that helps people, especially recently dumped people, find themselves again while travelling around th [...]

    9. *Book provided by the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*And Georgia’s story continues… YAY!!!Destination India is Katy Colin’s second book in The Lonely Hearts Travel Club series. The book starts in Manchester, where Georgia is now running her travel agency together with Ben, who she met in Thailand. She now is a workaholic and working all the time. She barley has time for friends or other things and traveling, oh well…But then she takes the chance to go to India. It [...]

    10. loved and lived it throughout plot is enigmatic and by Georgia reminds so much of me. . perhaps I could go to a destination too and explore myself

    11. I enjoyed Destination Thailand and was hoping for similar for the next book in the series. Sadly not as good as the first. At parts, I found the writing incredibly childish (the yoga session in particular made me hate the book!) It was also rather predictable at times but it is chick lit so that is to be expected I suppose. In all, a light fluffy read. I will probably read the next book in the series. Just hoping that Katy Collins realises that her target audience for this book are over the age [...]

    12. I wasn’t a fan of the name “Lonely Hearts”, but I loved the fact that it was about traveling to India (on my bucket list for sure). I’m glad I dismissed the title and read the book not for its cover, but its content and laughed all the way through Georgia’s trip – her honest sense of humor and of course at the things that went wrong, went right, and went sideways. It was a fun and quick read, and a series that I towards reading more of. I hadn’t realized this was the second in a se [...]

    15. I have previously read Destination Thailand and also Katy Colins new book Chasing the Sun, which is also part of the Destination series. Although I haven't read these in order, it has made no difference to my enjoyment of the novels. I still have Destination Chile to read, I'm looking forward to that! So we are back in Georgia Green's world and Ben and her are running a travel company, when they start receiving bad reviews for one of their most popular tours (India, Golden Triangle) Georgia deci [...]

    16. This was a real step down for me from the first book, I was really disappointed and I didn't expect much to begin with.Georgia and Ben are now running "The Lonely Hearts Travel Club" together with Kelly, and Georgia has really become a work-a-holic. Not trusting anyone to do anything, really. Later in the book it is mentioned that this is due to trust issues, from being dumped before the first book. I didn't buy it, it came much to late in the story. The parts that took place in India was good en [...]

    17. Read this book whilst on holiday - and it is perfect for just that in that it is a light, fun and easy read. It’s no literary masterpiece, but it is a chick flick in novel. From the first few chapters I couldn’t put it down. This novel is second in a series, however I had not read the first beforehand (the books feature the same characters but a different story so you don’t need to have read the first one!). In this book, Georgia, ceo of lonely hearts travel, goes undercover on one of their [...]

    20. This book wasn't as good as the first book in the trilogy of 'Lonely Hearts Travel Club' books, but I did enjoy it nonetheless. I felt that the story line was less believable than the first book which was a shame, but I did like some of the characters more than the first book. It did make me want to visit India as well!

    21. Once again, Katy Colins did not disappoint! I found this novel to be a lot more sassy than the first! With having multiple cursing, very humorous at times and making me want to get out and travel (while I read this in Bali ;)) I can't wait to continue with Destination Chile!

    23. Didn't love this one as much as the first in the series but I will enjoyed it. I look forward to the next installment of the series.
