    2. Commendable research was conducted on the history, technology and sociocultural dynamics and challenges of the time. Lives of different native Indian tribes (Cherokee, Comanche, Karankawa, etc.), their relationships with each other and with early settlers were described strikingly. The pastoral depictions of Texas accompanied by the captivating battle scenes made the book a tasteful treat. For book 2, we need more details about Morgan (and his secret), AND Magnificent Molly!!
