    1. First, I have to admit, I really like Sydney Gibson's books. I love how the covers are all different, really capture the mood and are not run-of-the-mill. I especially like this cover with the "Jugendstil-look". Content-wise this one really ticked all of my boxes for the supernatural world. I love how the characters are so multi-dimensional: the good are not really good and the evil are not altogether evil. This seems to be a recurring theme in her books that even though people may commit heinou [...]

    2. Incredible storyI really liked all the supernatural aspects of this story and I enjoyed the true friendships that stood the test of time. I really hope there is a second book to finish the story.

    3. I wanted to rate it at 5 starsRevelry is a Decadence could easily be a five star book. Sydney Gibson has incredible talent as a fiction writer. No lesfic will ever mine the topic of soulmates more thoroughly or with more intensity. The story of Angel Laurel and her soulmate Vampire Eva is both a romance and an adventure. Laurel, at fifteen centuries old, is a fallen Angel cursed to an unfeeling life on Earth for a sentence of five hundred years. Laurel's chance to return home looms. A trial will [...]

    4. This is the third book I've read by Sydney Gibson and I really love the style of writing! The books tend to be a little longer than the average books I read but they don't disappoint! The way the context was set was clear and the build up was worth the wait. I really enjoyed that this book looks at more than just the romance bond between Laurel and Eva. It also highlights the friendships of the main characters. With characters so unique and special, I really hope to get a chance to read about thei [...]

    5. I won a copy of this book during a giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily. So that others may also enjoy this book, I am paying it forward by donating it a local library.

    6. Another great oneI loved this book! Sydney has done it again. My eyes are droopy, my hands are tired from holding my kindle and I can feel the chores I neglected all day getting impatient.but if this book had another 100 pages I would still be reading on and on. A well written thoroughly interesting read. So engrossing I couldn't put it down. Kept me reading hours at a time. A book so good I only have two complaints I would have like see to a more thorough close to the vampire and Sydney please [...]

    7. Ok so, I really enjoyed the story of this book. However, the writing itself isn't so great. There are typos, grammatical errors, confusing transitions and inconsistencies within the story that made it frustrating to read at times. It seems like the author never went back over the writing to check details or even really to edit like at all. To be honest, I was going back and forth between giving this 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 to give the author the benefit of the doubt because the story itself [...]

    8. Well done.A very good story. Perhaps rushed by evidence of some rather obvious editing issues but I never felt distracted from the overall story so I will let that go. Being an independent author is not easy. There isn't a team of editors working to polish every page. Strong characters, all of them likable. I recognize some personality traits from previous characters in the authors other books. Certainly a different take on the supernatural world. One I found refreshing. Fans of this author will [...]

    9. The concept of this book is absolutely brilliant. Good vs evil or is it? It keeps you guessing as to what the conclusion will be. Simply cannot wait for the sequel.

    10. This book had a wonderful plot, which made it very difficult for me to put down. However, I downgraded my rating because it was peppered with too many grammatical, spelling, duplication, and omission errors that stopped my reading flow to guess what was meant to be written. To improve the quality of this book, I recommend a qualified editor review its contents and correct the obvious errors. Other than that, I enjoyed reading it.I won this book on .

    11. It was Great!I hope the second book it out, so I don't have to wait!!! Its a wonderful read and a great story.
