    1. One of the worst things I've tried to read all year. I had to push through book 2, but this was something else, so just had yo put it down and stop. It's not as funny as book one and it doesn't have a point. I cant recommend at all.

    3. [Quick review from memory until I re-read and re-review at a later date:Ahhh. At first glance through it is marginally humorous, but you soon realise it really isn't up to much. The standards are low. Unsure if I'll re-read it at all, but it might be interesting to try and write some kind of analytical review]

    4. Barry Trotter is 39 years old and he looks like a nine-year-old. Ermine forces him to go and see school psychatrist, Ernst Ritalin, who think that the key to Barry's going younger is hidden in his past. Trips into Barry's memories shows also episodes with Ermine organizing school Yule Ball and her affair with parody of Viktor Krum.

    5. This was a fun read. I wouldn't reread it I guess, but it was okay to read once.I really enjoy reading anything Harry Potter related, and so is this book, as it is a parody on the Harry Potter series. It was good and funny. Some jokes were really good.

    6. A deliberately messed-up Harry Potter parody. There are a couple of very good jabs at the original series - I can literally think of two - but mostly, it's just completely random stuff, some of which is still funny. I don't regret reading it, but I'm not exactly rushing to re-read this or to read the other parts in the series.

    7. As someone who (partially) enjoyed the other Barry Trotter books, this one was a little bit disappointing.Okay, Dead Horse, we get it. It's funny, Gerber's same self-loathing and forth wall breaking humor remains, but the plot is a complete mess. Without a doubt the worst in the series. The appeal of the first book was that it was the Harry Potter crew in a more adult environment, all of whom were equally as rude and unlikable as each other. The second was good because we had an actual plot (rath [...]

    8. READ IN ENGLISHWhen I first found this book, a parody, I thought it had to be fun, as my sister and my like to make fun of some certain scenes in the Harry Potter books and movies ourselves. But, I was really disappointed. There were a lot 'jokes' in it that just weren't funny, and there was no story in it at all. I actually liked the first few pages the best, in which is explained that it has nothing to do with JK Rowling. It took me quite some time to finish the book, as I was not interested a [...]

    9. I found this little book at a book market for only 2 euro so I had no reason to leave it there. Halfway through the book I found out that there actually had been two prequels but I didn't have them and reading it without reading those before was fine, no problem there at all. Now some parts were fun, some parts were more ''look at me I'm so funny because I tell rude things'' but overall a fine read I guess. Now I'm going to search for the other two parts, apparently the author will stop writing [...]

    10. The first few jokes about the voracious sexual appetites of Barry Trotter & Friends may merit a chuckle initially, but after reading 350 more jokes with similar premises, one is more inclined to seek a refund, rather than continue reading. Now, the first Barry Trotter book--that was a decent attempt at parody. This really is, as the prologue insists, a desperate attempt to make a buck. Er, quid.

    11. This wasn't even funny. Was expecting more and I'm disappointed, will hope that other one I have I wil bit better. Not sure where problem is might be too old for sexul jokes? don't think so but have feeling that author sometimes tries jokes just to have them there without logic or any sense. Bit too pushy. On other hand book is goodly written, in style and use of words so one star is adequate. Plus I still finished it :-)

    12. [Taken from the 'generic letter of offence' that can be filled in @ the end of the omnibus edition book:]I HATE YOU!Dear Sir:I was very offended by your book Barry Trotter And The Shameless Parody.I am an ex-girlfriend.I am writing to say how appalled I was at your inept plotting. How does it feel, Mr. Gerber, to be a poisoner of fresh, young minds?I hope you're happy now, jerk-o.Cordially yours,A fan.

    14. WOW!!!!! SOOOO much better than Harry Potter! Full of imagination and the great parody has taken form! I can't put it down! SOOOOO addicting. Recommend this to everyone. I chortled through the melancholy parts and this should get a 6star review!

    15. Poor Barry Trotter has been cursed so that he keeps getting younger. Ermine and friends must find a way to rescue him before he gets entirely juvenile. Probably the most serious and the most humerous of the three, if that makes any sense.

    16. By far the worst book I have read in a long time. This is no satire but plain mockery. Ridiculous and unnecessary.

    17. This is according to me good only for the places, where people spend every day sitting doing things like this. But everybody has a different taste :)

    18. Quite funny in places, but I have read better parodies; then again, I have also read a lot worse.

    19. This daft spoof is such a good laugh and doesn't attack harry potter books but has just made a daft big headed character who is detestable but difficult not to enjoy reading about

    20. The end of the trilogy, if you have already read the first two then you know what to expect from this adventure.
