    1. Individually, I thought these stories were good, some of them quite poignant. There were some appreciated flashes of humor, too. However, reading them all back to back, as I did, was probably a mistake, as they were quite similar in theme and types of characters, so they tended to run together after a while. Overall, a good find at the used book store.
