    1. I like kayaking and sailing. If you like books about being out on the water with all its frustrations and joys you will like this book. Mostly written in diary format based on letters saved by friends. I met the author's husband briefly on Orcas Island while he was taking his dog for a walk.     2. I just finished this book which I picked up from the author, who's an Orcas Island neighbor. It's an entertaining, but not especially provocative documentary of Joyce & Don Green's round-the world sailing circumnavigation from 1986-98. Lots of stories about the remote ports & people they discovered, not quite so much detail about their actual sailing.
