    1. This was a fun memoir of walking the Camino de Santiago, in Spain. This is the journey of two friends, both artist who decide to walk this pilgrimage together, not rushing but enjoying their time on the trail, quite often stopping to do a couple of hours sketching of what ever catches their eyes. Marcia includes a lot of her wonderful pen and ink drawings throughout the book and it was fun to see pieces of what she saw. She has a creative and strong bold look to her drawing. She definitely has a [...]

    2. This book touched me to the core. I would LOVE to take my own trek through Spain, or anywhere for that matter after reading it. I loved reading about every step, every encounter, every city, and every thought these two amazing women had. I loved the way they complimented each other and kept the other on track.I loved how the author's writing makes you feel as if you are there with them. You feel their joy and their pain. You "see" what they see. The drawings are a bonus and I loved that they wer [...]

    3. Wow! I just finished 505 miles with two very interesting artists. Marsha's narrative made me feel every blister and sore muscle. Her sketches were a beautiful tribute to the journey along the Camino de Santiago.

    4. Bought the book after attending a lecture by Marcia Shaver and enjoyed it a lot. She really captures the feel of the camino in all it's peaceful, quirky, amuzing and challenging moments. Best camino book I've read.

    5. What an accomplishment. Marcia wrote it in such a way as to make you feel like you were really there along the journey with she and Tannis. I especially liked the insight she gained and shared. Strong women!
